Oliver is a Chartered Electrical Engineer with over 13 years of specialist experience in the design and delivery of mission critical and data centre projects across the UK and Europe. Based in Hoare Lea’s Leeds office, a director leading the Northern MDCD business, he brings significant technical expertise spanning new‑build developments, complex upgrade programmes and live‑site power resilience projects.
Before joining Hoare Lea, Oliver worked for a leading main contractor as Technical Lead, where he was responsible for providing technical design assurance across all UK and European data centre schemes. His background includes working both client‑side and within major consultancies, giving him a unique perspective on project delivery, risk management and strategic engineering decision‑making.
At Hoare Lea, Oliver leads project delivery and provides technical leadership across a wide portfolio of data centre and mission critical clients. He has played a central role in several high‑profile developments, including large‑scale hyperscale and colocation facilities, Tier III data centres and extensive power‑system upgrade programmes.
Oliver is part of Hoare Lea’s established northern presence, delivering mission critical expertise across the firm’s four northern offices in Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
